A fresh, properly aired bed is the ideal prerequisite for a restful and healthy sleep and hygienic sleep environment.

Dust mites


Right after you get up, dust mites find the warm and humid climate between the duvet and mattress ideal for reproducing. It is therefore advisable not to make your bed right away but to air it properly.
15% of the population already suffer from an allergy, but long-term exposure to mites can also cause an allergy in people who are not allergic. Aeration combats dust mites and alleviates the burden in case of allergies.

To prevent mold in the bedroom, you should completely expose your mattress and bed and let them air. You don't notice it, but when you sleep you lose an average of 500 ml of moisture to your bed and mattress.

If you make your bed in the morning immediately after getting up, you will trap the moisture. This warm, humid climate creates perfect conditions for the creation of invisible, fine mold spores in the mattress and bedspread.
Once the mold is visible, it is already too late. Then only the disposal of the affected textiles helps.

Immune system


Good and sufficiently long sleep is essential for the immune system. Because during sleep, the body produces certain hormones and chemical messengers, which in turn support the work of the immune cells (T cells). These T cells are responsible for killing already infected body cells and thus preventing the onset of the disease. In a study, researchers at the University of Tübingen have proven that sleep deprivation has a significant impact on the immune system. On average, a person needs 7-8 hours of sleep. The time required and the rhythm of sleep can vary greatly from person to person.
